Activity Logs

The Activity Logs module provides a complete audit trail of actions performed within the system.

This ensures:

  • Accountability
  • Transparency
  • Security monitoring
  • Operational traceability

Every major action performed by users or admins is recorded.


Activity Logs Overview

The Activity Logs Page displays system-wide activity entries.

Each log entry includes:

  • Activity Type – Type of action performed
  • Details – Description of the action
  • User – Name of the user who performed the action
  • Role – User role (Tenant Admin, Employee, etc.)
  • Date / Time – Timestamp of activity

Logs are displayed in chronological order.


Types of Activities Logged

Examples of logged activities include:

  • Device created
  • Device edited
  • Device moved between locations
  • Locker created or updated
  • Maintenance request initiated
  • Pickup request completed
  • Drop-off request completed
  • Store created or edited
  • Device type created or modified

This ensures that all critical system changes are recorded.


Purpose of Activity Logs

The Activity Logs module helps the Tenant Admin:

  • Track who performed specific actions
  • Review historical changes
  • Audit device movement
  • Investigate discrepancies
  • Maintain compliance and accountability

In case of disputes or device mismatches, activity logs provide reliable reference data.


Audit and Accountability

Each activity record contains:

  • Exact timestamp
  • User identity
  • Role-based context
  • Description of the change

This prevents:

  • Unauthorized modifications
  • Untraceable device movement
  • Data inconsistencies

Activity Logs cannot be manually altered, ensuring data integrity.
