Device Setup

Device Setup is the initial stage of preparing the Smart Locker Kiosk for use.

When the kiosk is powered on and the locker setup process is completed, the kiosk displays the Locker Setup Complete screen. This screen provides the identifiers required to configure and register the kiosk through the Smart Locker Web Application.

Locker Setup Complete

The Locker Setup Complete screen confirms that the initial locker setup has been completed.

The screen displays the following information:

• Device Service ID – Identifies the device service associated with the kiosk.
• HW ID – Identifies the hardware associated with the kiosk.

Configure the Device in the Web Application

After the locker setup is completed on the kiosk, the Device Service ID is used in the Smart Locker Web Application to configure the kiosk.

The administrator must configure the device service and associate it with the appropriate locker. The locker is then assigned to a Tenant.

The configuration establishes the relationship between:

Device Service → Locker → Tenant

Once the locker has been assigned to a tenant, the tenant can use the Smart Locker Kiosk for their organization’s device operations.
